We help our clients design and manage the human experience in complex destinations and large-scale projects.

We place the human experience at the core of environments that are commercially sustainable and full of vitality.

Every place carries its own identity, memory and cultural spirit. Through extensive research into the social, historical and geographical character of places, we create environments that feel rooted, meaningful and alive, using materials, narratives and experiences that strengthen authentic connections between people and place.

Integrating around the human experience means guiding the design and operation of a project around how people actually perceive, use and remember a place. Rather than treating architecture, operations, culture, programming, branding and mobility as separate disciplines, they are coordinated as part of a connected experience system.
We work with governments, developers, and operators delivering large-scale destinations. These including World Expos, Cities, cultural districts, waterfronts, event venues, and mixed-use developments. Our focus is on projects where complexity is high, stakeholders are many, and experience cannot be left to chance.
We carry out deep research into the identity, history, behaviours and cultural character of each place, as well as the themes that shape it, to ensure a strong connection between people, narrative and environment. This allows us to embed local identity into programming, public realm strategy and everyday activation, creating cultural vitality that is both meaningful and commercially grounded, where necessary.
Most approaches to visitor experience are driven primarily by operations, marketing or architecture, with each discipline working through separate teams and deliverables. This fragmentation often dilutes the original emotional signature of a project at each stage of development. We call this the “experience divide.”Our work is driven by human factors: how we perceive, navigate, remember and emotionally connect with a place. We do not replace specialist teams. Instead, we develop the strategies, frameworks and toolkits that help integrate architecture, operations, branding, programming and culture around a coherent human experience. This integration is essential to maintain the integrity of the original vision from concept through to delivery.
We typically work upstream, where early decisions have the greatest impact on the long-term human experience of a project. Our role is to help clients create clarity across complex systems by defining experience principles, identifying human factors, structuring experience frameworks and aligning multiple teams around a coherent vision. Our outputs are practical and designed for implementation: strategic frameworks, experience toolkits, governance models, mapping systems, naming structures and operational guidance that help maintain the integrity of the experience from concept through to delivery.
